KPR: Your source for holiday listening

KPR logo

Listen to Christmas music during live classical programming at KANSAS PUBLIC RADIO for an excellent alternative to commercial radio. Tune in weekdays, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and evenings after 6:00.

KPR, located on the campus of the University of Kansas in Lawrence, offers the best in traditional carols, as well as larger works, such as Corelli’s Christmas Concerto, Monteverdi’s Vespers for the Blessed Virgin, or Renaissance works for brass. KPR is not too proud to include the occasional jolly secular work, but the programmers never obscure the true focal point of Christmas. Tune in today!

If you’re within range of Lawrence and want to listen off line, you’ll find KPR at 91.5 FM on your radio dial.
